Echo Mill at PCST, 6/18/24
June 16th
Let's get ready for our last home meet!
- Location? Our pool!
- Team Spirit It's Hawaiian Night! Wear your Hawaiian shirts & leis! Make posters to hang on the fence to show our colors! Please remove your poster at the end of the meet.
- When should I arrive? – Plan to arrive no later than 4:30 PM.
- Where do I park? VIP NEW PARKING PLAN
- PCST families will need to carpool as much as possible b/c we do NOT have permission to park at Pitner. We aak that you drop off your swimmers and stuff at the pool and then park at Publix. A couple of big cars will shuttle drivers back from Publix and then reverse the process at the end of the meet. We apologize for this inconvenience but it's what we have to do in order to host meets today & next week!
- No one parks along the roads in Parkwood Commons (unless you don't mind being towed).
- Spots in the back grass or the paved lot are reserved for our guests and refs.
- Parking attendants need to be there on duty at 4:00.
- Food - We will have pizza, BBQ chicken sandwiches, hamburger/cheeseburger, hotdogs, sides, chips, drinks and, of course, candy. There will be a limited number of slices available for purchase. Preorder whole pizzas ahead of time by clicking here. PCST takes cash or Venmo for payment.
- When does the meet start? – The first event is at 6:00 PM.
- What events will my swimmer be competing in? – Line-ups will be published on Tuesday late morning or early afternoon. Stay tuned! Download the SwimTopia app to stay on top of things easily!
- What should I bring to the meet? - Bring chairs, towels, sunscreen, snacks, a sharpie marker, bug repellant, and cash for the Concession Stand. We also suggest bringing items to keep your child entertained while waiting for their events. Items such as card games, books, small activities are highly recommended.
- How long will the meet last? – Probably around 4 hours.
- Are we having practice on the morning of the swim meet? – Yes, we will have morning practice on Tuesday morning at our normal time. It will be lighter than normal.
- Wacky Wednesday - Wednesday after the meet is a fun day for all swimmers at 10 am. Snacks provided!
- Volunteering – We have important volunteer spots open still - sign up to help, please! Check in with Kathy Ware when you arrive at the pool. (Can't remember what you signed up for? Click here.)
- Waffle House - Celebrate your swims with Waffle House down the street with the team after the meet! We hope to see you all there.
We're so proud of the progress swimmers have made since the beginning of the season - let's keep up the good work! This team is smaller so we have a good chance to be competitive & have a great meet! GO PIRAHNAS!
