Parkwood Commons Swim Team

The Parkwood Commons Piranhas Swim Team is a long-time summer tradition in north Cobb County. We are based in the Parkwood Commons subdivision on Wade Green Road in Acworth, Georgia and accept swimmers from the subdivision and outside of Parkwood Commons. The Parkwood Commons Homeowners Association and the residents of Parkwood Commons are gracious hosts of our team.

We're gearing up for Summer Swim 2026! We're excited to see all our friends on deck soon. Remember, each family is required to work at least 5 meet halves. More may be necessary depending on the size of our team & how many meets we end up having. Contact [email protected] with questions.

***Are you a working parent that can't get their kids to practice every day BUT would love to have their kids still experience summer swim fun? Please reach out!

We have an alternative! Please attend at least one practice a week once in the pool. Then, each week the coaches will design "homework" workouts for kids to use in their home pools, neighborhood pools and/or before the meets for warm-ups. This tier doesn't have as much teaching fundamentals & skill work, as the coaches will be only working with the kids before and during the meets BUT your child will fall in love with the buzz and comrade of being on a swim team!!

Patti Wilder GRPA State Qualifying Swim Meet OPTIONAL

  • Saturday is usually for 10 & under swimmers
  • Sunday is usually for 11 & up swimmers 
• The Patti Wilder Meet is the Cobb County Summer Swim championship meet where summer league swimmers from all over Cobb county race together at Mountain View Aquatic Center. All swimmers are welcome to register. This a paid event in addition to your PCST fees.
