- Location? Our pool!
- When should I arrive? – Plan to arrive no later than 4:30 PM.
- Where do I park?
- Park across Wade Green at Pitner unless you need accessible parking. Feel free to drop off older kids/stuff and then drive across to park. Please be safe crossing the road!
- No one parks along the roads in Parkwood Commons (unless you don't mind being towed).
- A few people may park either in the grass or beside the pool - these are for the concessions leader who has a ton to load/unload, accessible parking needs, and our guest coaches/coordinators.
- Other spots on the grass or the paved lot are reserved for our guests.
- Please don't park in the grass or beside the pool unless you've been specifically invited. If there are open spaces, it doesn't mean that they're available.
- Parking attendants need to be there on duty at 4:00.
- What events will my swimmer be competing in? – Line-ups will be published on Thursday late morning or early afternoon. Stay tuned! Download the SwimTopia app to stay on top of things easily!
- What should I bring to the meet? - Bring chairs, towels, sunscreen, snacks, a sharpie marker, bug repellant, and cash for the Concession Stand. We also suggest bringing items to keep your child entertained while waiting for their events. Items such as card games, books, small activities are highly recommended.
- Food - We will have hotdogs & pizza as the meal options, in addition to chips, candy & drinks. There will be a limited number of slices available for purchase. Order whole pizzas ahead of time by clicking here.
- When does the meet start? – The first event is at 6:00 PM.
- How long will the meet last? – Probably around 4+ hours.
- Are we having practice on the morning of the swim meet? – Yes, we will have morning practice on Thursday morning at our normal time. It will be lighter than normal.
- Volunteering – Thanks for volunteering. Please check in with Kathy Ware when you arrive at the pool. (Can't remember what you signed up for? Click here.)
- Recycling – We will be recycling at this swim meet. The recycling containers are blue, and they are the destination for aluminum, plastic, and clean paper. Please don’t put garbage in the recycling container, or recyclables in the garbage containers.
- Posters – Let’s show our team spirit for the first home meet. Make posters to hang on the fence to show our colors! Please remove your poster at the end of the meet.
Our coaches are so proud of the progress swimmers have made in the short time we've practiced so far. Cheer on your teammates & show our opponent our terrific sportsmanship tonight. Let's have a great meet! GO PIRAHNAS!
