Social Distancing Dry Land Practice
Today would have been the start of our season and our first dry land practice! In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to do a little “dry land” practice while social distancing 🙂 Either myself or one of the other coaches will post a workout for your swimmer to do at home. We will try to post something a few times each week (until we know what this season will officially be like). Once your swimmer has done the workout, comment their name(s) on the private FB group page under this post. Hopefully, I will get to see everyone soon!!

Today’s practice:
20 jumping jacks
20 toe touches
20 flutter kicks (lay flat on your back, hands by your side and flutter kick. Keep feet about 2-3 inches off the ground)
20 burpees
Repeat 3 times.
Then grab a brother, sister, mom, dad, etc and go outside. Play tag for 15 minutes! Run hard and get your heart rate up. This will help with conditioning and preparing for practice in the water.
